In my 16 years working with people who had returned home from prison, I heard many wild and crazy stories. The story of Martin “Mac” McNally is BY FAR the wildest and craziest story I’ve ever heard. If you like true crime stories, you will not be disappointed in this incredibly entertaining and well done podcast which chronicles the life of Martin McNally who hijacked American Airlines Flight 119 from St. Louis Lambert Airport in June 1972. I had the pleasure of getting to know Mac upon his supervised release from federal prison after serving 37 years of a life sentence. I watched him learn how to live life on the outside after years spent in solitary confinement and I was at his going away party when he eventually left St. Louis to return home to family in Michigan. Mac is a very interesting guy and a great storyteller. Over the years I have told many people the shortened version of this story. Now you can hear the full story as told by Mac and many other first-hand accounts from people who were there.

This has the potential to be a really groundbreaking story in an already crowded true-crime space. They’ve brought on some really talented people to work on this and I’m excited to tune in.

I am thoroughly enjoying the intriguing story that unfolds deeper with each episode. The content is phenomenal and the narrator and interviews draw you in so deep. And just when you think that it can’t get better...it does!
