“We’ve seen about 400,000 individuals being paroled into the United States … This is a historic abuse of the parole system,” says Chad Wolf, former Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and now executive director of the America First Policy Institute. They’re facilitating that child going to a sponsor—and not knowing who that sponsor is.
