Host: Karmen S. Williams, DrPH, MBA,Assistant Professor at the City University of New York in the Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. Dr. Williams is also the director of ‘For Your Informatics’ podcast, Co-Chair of the Pipeline Subcommittee of Women in AMIA, and the Chair of the Dental Informatics Working Group. Guest Interviews:  Vicki Hertzberg, PhD American biostatistician, who is currently a professor in the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing of Emory University, where she founded and continues to direct its Center for Data Science. She is an internationally recognized expert on “big data” and its impact on health care. She is widely known for her work measuring social contacts that enable disease transmission in emergency departments and on airplanes. Andi Plotsky, MSPH Serves as the Director of Database Projects for the Nell Hodgson School of Nursing at Emory University and the lead database architect for Project NeLL.  Andi is lead database architect of Project NeLL and manages a team of programmers and students in the development of this product.  She has also served as a Data Manager with the Emory-UGA Center of Excellence in Influenza Research, as well as having she taught a "Database Development for Public Health" course in the Rollins School of Public Health – preaching the gospel of database standards.
