Needs Work
I am 5 episodes in and I’m enjoying it. BUT this is what happens when people with no podcast or performing experience try to do an Actual Play. The two guys are good but the two girls need a few notes. At the end of one episode the GM even reminds them that inaudible motions don’t work on a podcast and one of the girls argues back. Yes you are playing a TTRPG but you can’t play it like a home TtRPG. Diction and enunciation for starters. They are difficult to understand and one of them keeps mumbling the end of her sentences. What’s critically missing is any kinds of personality. You are no longer playing for the table. You have an audience and you need to be entertaining. Well you don’t need to, but then you don’t need to have your game on a podcast either. Everyone has an initial learning curve and I hope they get better. But I suspect they are not listening to their own playback to even be able to give themselves notes.
