New season? No thank you
Ugh, I liked the first season, but this one seems to have dropped down the well of extreme niche. So far it has mostly consisted of wealthy coke snorting Silicon Valley nerds who have little to no understanding of the needs of regular lower income humans. I’ll give you an example: one guest thought it would be great to have us all living in upgradeable cities where we would be expected to move every few years. Yes! Let’s all voluntarily subject ourselves to one of the most stressful experiences of our lives on a regular basis! Wtf??? How much coke is this guy on? And why does the interviewer seem totally okay with the idea? Are they in a cult? This podcast has lost touch with reality. What used to be a series of optimistic visions has now turned into an Orwellian nightmare vision of “hey, what can we do to the poor people in order to take more agency from them, and get away with?” Also, stop playing the title at the end over the interviewee’s words. It’s gimmicky and aggravating and is a terrible way to end an interview. This used to be good. I’m unsubscribing, ASAP.
