“I thought the random button was a risky choice, but it has made the show tons of fun! I have discovered anime I like that I otherwise would not have through this show. Even if I dislike the anime of the week, the podcast keeps it interesting by focusing on other aspects of the anime aside from the plot and characters: animation style and production, musical score, intro/outro, etcetera. I appreciate that the cast also sets the background for the show (example: a slice of life anime originally based upon a visual novel). I never knew how much I didn’t know about anime! (Like that random hair sticking out of someone’s head in almost every anime is called an ahoge which literally means “foolish hair”!!) Definitely stay tuned at the end of the episodes for funny bloopers.”
