To be fair, I didn’t see that this podcast was part of the Daily Wire stable until several episodes in. The podcast was informative and helpful to understand the wider story all the way until the final couple of episodes. Then it was like the author remembered/was told that he needed to take shots at the American left or he couldn’t be part of the Daily Wire family. He ham-fistedly inserts right wing political commentary at extremely odd moments, to the point of trying to make Richard Nixon seem like just a misunderstood guy when Watergate came crashing down and Gerald Ford a courageous man by pardoning him. At last, he wraps it all up by essentially portraying the Cold War as an American victory thanks to Reagan, Thatcher, and The Pope. Remove the Daily Wire effect and this would have been a much more well rounded podcast.
