“This podcast is one of the most biased history podcasts I have ever listened to. I went into it to learn about the Cold War because it is a time is American and world history that I am sorely lacking knowledge of, but even with my fairly basic knowledge of the subject from school I was able to spot how it misrepresented history. Other than a few examples which I am honestly not equipped to comment on, the facts presented seem to my knowledge to be accurate, but they are cherry picked to fit a very American white nationalist perspective and the commentary that goes along with it is entirely unnecessary except to further obfuscate the truth.
As a disclaimer I have only listened to the first three episodes because I could not keep listening after how insanely biased it’s portrayal of the Berlin air lift was. The snide comments about how “hardly any” (refusing to elaborate on the exact number) berliners had moved to Soviet controlled Berlin was the last straw that finally made me look into this podcast’s publisher, which is the Daily Wire, a conservative think tank that was a proponent of President Donald Trump’s 1776 education report. At least they’re consistent in their inconsistent portrayal of history.
TL;DR: I would not recommend listening to this unless you have a very clear understanding of the Cold War which I do not have, because it is incredibly biased and is only useful as conservative propaganda and the study therein.”
