Propaganda masked as a history lesson?
The show is mostly played straight but every now and then, Bill will let out a “this is what liberals don’t understand about communism”. A history show would have been great. A show about the corruption of the Soviet Union and how that propelled the Cold War would have been great. But I sense the purpose of this show is promote conservative ideals, and much of history will go unsaid, or deliberately changed, to fit the narrative. This certainly isn’t a Hardcore History podcast.

I’m not sure why this is so highly rated. It’s fine podcast by a Boomer who watched the landing but it pales in comparison to the BBC’s series on the subject by Kevin Fong, MD.
