Description
🎤On this episode of Archery Talk 101 Podcast #163, We talk with Paralympic two-time Gold medalist John Walker,
🪙We talk about him winning two gold medals in the 2016 Paralympics, then going on and being ranked number 5 in the world in 2018.
👉John retired from archery due to an injury and then moved to rifle and pistol shooting.
👉In the pistol shooting, he then discovered that he could get back into archery.
🏹John then got back into archery and now shoots
Mathews bows.
👉We then talk about the new Mathews Lift bow and how well it shoots.
👉We also talked about the Mantis X8 training aid, which will analyze your shots.
👉John only uses the Bohning vanes; they are primed, so when you glue them on, they stay.
👉 To ensure the vanes are fletched identically, John uses the Last Chance Fletching Jig. Although expensive, it allows you to maintain a perfect vane alignment. You can even replace one vane with this jig and keep that perfect alignment.
