“I was excited when I heard about this podcast. But so far it’s being disappointing. The analyses of the arias are superficial and trivial. And after discussing an aria, why not play a famous interpretation of it? Instead we are subjected to just ok versions by guest singers being promoted by the Met. I’ll listen to a few more episodes with the hope that it will get better.”
