Insight and Honesty from Hosts
AE was the first podcast to be solid enough (for me) to start listening intentionally - not just using them as background noise. The ongoing self-reflection (and the times he misses the mark without noticing it) makes Dax human: and as a human is often mucked up. His honest and insightful approach to recovery, family, career - along with all his hang ups, make him relatable and genuine. As someone who hangs out in church basements every week, like Dax, I am grateful to hear his message and how the outcomes of walking twelve steps for long enough can seep into the rest of your life. Love how his guests open up - freely - without what sounds like pressure; instead, a real desire to get know them - the full them. Monica of course rocks too boot.
