Heather Jarvis: Less coverge, fewer opportunites. The relationshipbetween female participation and media coverage of women in sport. Heather Jarvis is a lecturer at the Centre for Advancing Journalism at the University of Melbourne. Prior to that, for over 20 years she was a journalist, presenter & producer at the ABC, specialising in radio and online coverage of development, cultural, sports and social issues in the Pacific and Asia. Heather is a qualified track and field coach and has many years experience in community sports club administration. She has a strong interest in sports for community development, a Master of Development Studies from Deakin University and is keen to see more equal participation and representation of women in sport at all levels. Dr Nasya Bahfen: Race and gender in football and footy. Nasya Bahfen is a senior lecturer in the School of Media, Film andJournalism at Monash University, and a community ambassador with the 2015Asian Cup and AFL Multicultural Programs. David joinedLa Trobe University in 2010 after a media career that began as a generalnews cadet in 1989. During his career he was a TV reporter, TV presenter,live sport producer, chief of staff and ultimately executive producer. Julie Tullberg: Footy change rooms, blokey press boxes and the back-pagegirl. Julie teaches digital journalism and sports reporting in MonashUniversity's School of Media, Film and Journalism. She is pursuing her PhDin sports digital journalism. Julie has worked as a journalist since 1990,and enjoyed a career at News Corp for more than 20 years. Julie wasformerly the Herald Sun's Homepage Editor, Night Digital Editor and SportsDigital Editor (Nights). Natalie Yoannidis: Being One of the Boys Natalie Yoannidis is a RMIT University journalism graduate who scored theinternship of a lifetime - the ABC's Sport Broadcaster for Women Internshipfor 2013. Moderator Alex Wake, Lecturer Journalism@RMIT Alexandra Wake has been a journalist for 25 years. Although initiallytrained in print, she has adapted to other technologies and now boasts acareer spanning radio, television and online. Alex spent seven years working for the ABC in Queensland
