“Lex is the modern Larry King, by which I mean he doesn’t actually ask any challenging questions. He does not seem interested in creating new understanding, he’s more about giving the interview subject an opportunity to present the best possible version of themselves.
If you like the person he’s interviewing, that’s nice. If you don’t like them it seems like a missed opportunity.
Lex seems like a nice guy, but his approach to ‘journalism’ doesn’t add much of value.”
