“Milena has previously stated she would never hit her children, and now she’s using the Bible to back up her parenting style of corporal punishment and sheltering from the world. As a fellow Christian, it saddens me to see such prominent folks twisting His word to suit their needs. Further, gentle parenting and loving the Lord are not mutually exclusive. It seems that she’s really jumping on the fundie train and abandoning her prior views. I understand that people change, but she hasn’t really addressed this change and it gives me an icky feeling. I wish I knew how to put it more eloquently.”
