“This is a story behind the new show. It is especially good for those in the lower reaches of North America because Canada is impacted by what happens to the south and gives perspective to news stories that too far often are given a softball exam by news readers to the south. I love to hear Carol and Jeff Douglas start into a story and then say" we contacted...about the story." They can ask some tough questions. Also, there is something intimate about listening over the radio and conjuring up images in my mind. I use an e-reader tablet to carry with me around the house. The podcast is 43 minutes of pure pleasure being immersed in the news of the day.”
