“I have listened to your program for many years. Rarely I would remember a program from one week to another unless there is a running important theme on the news. A couple of years ago I went to Portugal to do the Camino to Santiago de Compostela starting from Lisbon. The almost 700 km trail slowly started to take its toll and past the city of Porto early in the morning I painfully (my feet) started my walk toward the next village some 35 km away. With me some other pilgrims walking in silence enjoying the freshness of an early morning along the rural views with the hills carpeted with flowers as it was early spring. Then I started to listen to one of your new episodes, one that I still remember as somehow you made me burst in laughs breaking the silence that up until then I had managed to share solemnly with the other pilgrims. It was bad...so bad that I could not stop laughing as your words made mischievously their way into my brain. Uranus...a scientist and two skillful reporters trying to stay high school-serious while trying to explain how Uranus smells and how this scientific progress was achieved. I sat on a stone wall to rest although it was just an excuse to let the others go and me to enjoy the rest of the program. It was divine intervention that injected a much needed dose of humor to an otherwise serious serene journey. Later I was treated to the chapter with the equally funny/cheeky comments received from your listeners. This year in sept 2020 I was supposed to be doing the French Camino to Santiago but Covid changed everyone’s plans. As winter sets in, I see thru my window snow all around my home. No chance to go out to smell the roses but perhaps you could consider to replay highlights of these episodes so that at least we can smell Uranus? Thanks for your continuos presence keeping us entertained, informed and giving us a smile here and there. Alejandro”
