Description
Our initial series, Pathways: ASBMR Stories of Discovery, is hosted by Dr. Michael Econs, Distinguished Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Throughout this three part series, we speak with pioneers in discovery of FGF23. We explore dysregulation of FGF23 in renal failure, inhibiting FGF23 for treatment of XLH, and the interplay of FGF23 and iron. Episode two features Dr. Kenneth White—Professor of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University—on his journey through the field, what attracted him to FGF23, and what keeps him going. White also shares his advice for young investigators in the field. Be sure to subscribe to tune in for future episodes. Thank you for joining us!
