“I listened to two episodes, one each from two series. I was expecting to learn about bone science. I found it is more about people’s career paths than about the actual science. There was a lot of name dropping and who worked with who, how people got opportunities etc. So more about the scientist and their journey than the science. It somewhat reinforces the idea that privilege and who you know can influence your career path. I was disappointed because I wanted to learn more about the science in fields outside of my own, but maybe my expectations are colouring this review. So, if you want to hear from experts on how they got where they are and general career advice, then you may enjoy this podcast.”
