“Droneu is great for new dronies. I think they cover surface level insight well. They are kinda goofy so if you’re looking for pure industry knowledge without personal flare, this might not be a great option. They also have a good amount of resources that can be very helpful when jumping into uav.
2 main issues -
First, undisclosed bias.
On multiple occasions they compare products not disclosing to the viewers on the podcast they offer paid training on only 1 of the 2 products(shocker, they talk up the ones you can pay them to learn more about)
Second,
Not using the products they are claiming to be experts on. Specifically softwares. I understand 1 person or even a team would struggle to understand how to use every drone software out there, but to not even use a software(obvious based on some of their comments) and make statements that are simply false is very unprofessional imo given the reach of the podcast. Do the homework, reach out to companies you are talking about and verify your script is accurate so your viewers can be confident in the information you are sharing.
Unfortunately, these guys fall into the category of know-it-alls that do not know it all and do not verify the accuracy of their content.
Please add how you go about fact checking for each podcast subject, I’d consider listening to your podcast again if that were to occur and shared with everyone. As well, would love to see more representation from companies AND users to get the full picture.”
