A much needed voice
In this “scientific age” we seem, as a society, to be surprisingly lacking in scientific literacy, and unsurprisingly to be lacking a grounded sense of healthy spirituality. Mike McHargue does an excellent job of joining both these threads in his podcast. He has pushed me to research topics myself as well as re-examine my concepts (or lack thereof) of God. In the midst of that, he also brings a voice of empathy and understanding that facilitates a safe environment for curiosity, questions and even outlandish ideas. Though I don’t agree with absolutely everything he says, this man’s voice has been an important one in my life, and one that I think may bring healing, insight and life to many others as well.

The questions and answers are so interesting. Mike has a great gift to communicate clearly and make very difficult topics easy to understand. Or easier anyways, relativity and gravity are still confusing!

Mike has the uncanny ability of taking incredibly complicated topics on science and putting them into interesting, simple terms. His enthusiasm on science is infectious. It’s certainly not a podcast just for Christians - anyone who has any interest on science will appreciate his refreshing views.
