Confused
Interesting podcast with ideas about Christianity, specifically evangelicalism and attachment. A little confused about the Christianity that is constructed on this podcast. I’ve listened to a handful of episodes now, and it seems like the hosts pick and choose what they want to believe from the Bible if it makes them uncomfortable (particularly with the idea of sin). Or the idea of addressing God as Father when the biblical authors address God this way frequently. Not to say that God is a gendered being, but this is an accurate way to think/view God. Podcast seems more pop-psychology with a sprinkle of Christian ideas when it fits or makes sense with their worldview. If this is read by the hosts, I would love to hear more of your guys’ thoughts on Sin and how you view sin in light of attachment. Thank you!

As a therapist that is interested in the intersection of spirituality and psychology, this podcast is just so good. I’ve been recommending it to all my friends.

It’s deep and insightful and puts words around things I’ve wondered about for a long time. And educational. I love Amy’s explosive laugh. Hey joy is contagious.
