Hudson Hornet, the Fabulous Stock car

Description
Hudson Hornet In this episode I cover the Hudson Hornet, a car that dominated early stock car racing thanks to its flathead straight six engine, step-down chassis design, and its low slung, aerodynamic body. The Hudson Hornet would take multiple championships but eventually fall behind in sales due to it never being given a V8 and having an older look that could not be easily updated.  Thanks for Listening!  Flat Head engine Design image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flathead_engine#/media/File:Side-valve_engine_with_Ricardo's_turbulent_head_01.png Sources Note: Due to my hard drive corrupting itself I lost the original file that listed the sources used for this episode, the sources below are the ones I believe I used but there is a chance I am missing some sources, my apologies.  https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/hudson-twin-h-power https://www.nascarhall.com/blog/top-10-list-hudson-hornet https://historygarage.com/the-fabulous-hudson-hornet/ https://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-racing/nascar/history/history-of-stock-car-racing.htm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flathead_engine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabulous_Hudson_Hornet#:~:text=The%20Fabulous%20Hudson%20Hornet%20is,the%20%22Fabulous%20Hudson%20Hornet%22.
