She started with the NSW Sapphires from 2000 to 2004, amassing an impressive 35 appearances and netting 18 goals. Her stint at Sydney FC from 2009 to 2011 saw her make 22 appearances, contributing three goals to the team. The 2011-2012 season saw her don the Brisbane Roar jersey, making 11 appearances and continuing to make a significant impact. A move to the Western Sydney Wanderers from 2012 to 2014 marked a prolific phase in Cannuli's career.
