Description
In this week’s chat we’re joined by the amazing Callie, an Allied Health Professional working in the eating disorder space. Callie chats to us about how we approach body image with our children. We discuss what kind of impact our actions and words about our own bodies can have on our kids, from as early as the age of two.  We also chat about what we can do to encourage our children to love themselves and their bodies, and things to avoid saying and doing around our little ones in relation to appearance.  Callie is an allied health professional, founder of CA Support and a Mum who works in the Eating Disorder treatment space. She is passionate about all things eating disorders, disordered eating, diet culture, trauma and neurodivergency. She is a passionate advocate for smashing through the damage that the diet culture world can inflict upon families and our little ones, alongside working with those suffering from eating disorders through an individualised lens and with her own lived experience.  For more information on Callie, and to tune in to her amazing podcast, check out the links below: www.calsannsupport.com www.pavedwithgoldpodcast.com/ IG: @calsann.support @ca.support @pavedwithgoldpod If you want to keep up to date with all things Baby Brain, make sure to follow us on socials Instagram: @babybrain.podcast  Tiktok: @babybrainpodcast Facebook: Baby Brain Podcast See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
