“Well written & acted - but it was uneven in terms of judging people who may find themselves unhomed. There’s a great part where Ed is trying to get help & he falls into none of the urgent categories (dependents, veteran, disabled etc) & therefore cannot get help till after the holiday. But later Ed says ‘I’m not even a criminal or a drug addict’ & there was a sense that people in those circumstances might deserve to be living in a tent. Rubbed me the wrong way & was beside the point. It was a good idea for an audio play & I will definitely give to Crisis - and I hope help goes to people struggling with addiction too.”
