Mom of 4 love multiplies (ages 7-20months)
I’m so excited that you are adding to your family! It is hard to describe how it feels when you add children to your family. It is so exciting and you are bursting with love for both your children. However, don’t be surprised if you grieve a little for how it was before your life majorly changed...again. In the same you look back with fondness to when you were just a couple. One of the first that you may not have thought about, but always surprises me is how angry I can feel towards a child of mine that has hurt another child of mine. (This does happen) My parenting nightmare is when I have four children clamoring for me at once and I want to be there and do it all. It is hard to remember to take that deep breath and start tackling the poopy diaper, and then helping someone else wipe there butt after pooping on the toilet, then helping another child change into a princess dress and accessories, while carrying on a conversation about a dragons from a fictional world that you haven’t ever immersed yourself into, and trying to answer political and personality questions about said fictional world while also thinking about the chicken that you need to get marinating for dinner...oh and don’t forget speech therapy. Basically life as a parent is one continual to do list and always a compromise. Wouldn’t change it and love being busy. Just breathe.

We loved the first episode and are very excited to be on our pregnancy journey alongside you two. Looking forward to your stories of parenting Wes as well! So glad you’re doing this...Read full review »
