Disappointing
Listening to your season 2 finale episode, I understand why but am disappointed that the effectiveness of the episode is judged by your own standards of what works as a Star Trek season finale, and holding up Discovery as some shining beacon of light in storytelling. This is frustrating enough from the public but to hear it from writing professionals is tough going; that you can’t just accept that someone else’s show is told how they want to tell it, pacing and all, rather than in line with your own values and expectations.
