“I found this podcast after stumbling upon Juliana Chauncey’s Instagram and thinking we had the same name (my name is Julianna Carney). I had dreams of hiking the AT since meeting Jennifer Pharr Davis in high school, and this podcast was the educational background I needed to put my plans into action. I hiked the LT in 2021 and just completed the AT in September. The episode topics helped me feel safe and prepared heading into the backcountry, and the Girl Stuff episodes hyped me up as a female backpacker. I love this pod!”
