Gripping, chilling investigative journalism at its best
Health journalist Laura Beil, who created the spellbinding Dr. Death podcast, is hitting another home run with Bad Batch. This is like listening to a medical thriller, except it’s a real disturbing story about both the promise and failure of stem cell treatment for many patients. Who’s at fault? I’m on episode 2. I’m eager to find out. Note: I worked with Laura more than a decade ago. She was a top journalist then as well. I highly recommend Bad Batch. It’s a buyer beware story, a public service.
