Newborn Cord Blood Storage Companies and their claims
I found this podcast so informative. In 2012, our first child was born and we opted to pay for private cord blood collection and storage for our newborn. Over the years, the storage fees increased and I began looking more into their claims. Our child has been completely healthy and not needed any type of treatments that could be beneficial from cord blood banking. I have called to cancel. The company puts you on the line with a sales person who starts to tell you about “stem cell treatments” etc. Anyway, I used some of the knowledge learned from this podcast to continue to cancel my costly yearly storage. I believe the company absolutely feeds off parents fear of the unknown and or future diseases.
