“It absolutely feels like they’re dialing it in with the subscription-only content. I figured “why not?” when I saw the price, but I’m getting a measly additional 12 minute podcast once a week and ABC’s podcast is better, more thorough and free. Thoroughly disappointed by this, had really high expectations for the coverage they’d be providing and am mostly getting stupid anecdotes like a reporter seeing Holmes at Starbucks with her mom.
*Updated to change my rating from 2 stars to 1 star* - seriously, WSJ? Super tacky to label your second-to-last episode as the last subscriber only content then make the episode about the verdict… subscriber only! Not sure why the WSJ needs any money from their podcast ventures when they charge $50/month for their written content… Feels like a cheap money grab. Very disappointed.”
