You Had Me in the First Half
I was so enamored by this podcast. I listened to every episode as soon as it came out, and I loved how the host righted so many generational wrongs. But as soon as you throw other, victim focused podcasts under the bus (for what??) I was immediately lost. Morbid has and always has focused on the lives of victims. Almost every week they talk about relevant missing persons cases, resources, or mental health. Bringing in a clip of their “Crossbow Cannibal” episode, as they named him, to prove they didn’t spotlight Suzanne Blamires was grossly hypocritical. Its the flimsy equivalent to naming your podcast “The Ripper Retold.” Bringing other great, empathetic people down was so disturbing to me. If you’re going to diss someone, at least make sure it’s the right kind of people.

More reviews of Bad Women: The Blackout Ripper
I am obsessed with this podcast. The story telling and depth for these women’s lives and experiences is so well crafted and considered, I was absolutely heartbroken to find it’s only up to episode 5. I cannot wait for the rest of the episodes.

A thoughtful and insightful podcast, as relevant to today’s news as then. Highly recommend!

Meh
It’s kind of interesting, but doesn’t really grab the attention. And the theme song is a bit much! I think this might be better as a show where the story can be enhanced by visuals. Not great in the form of a podcast.
