“I used to really like this podcast, but Grant & Andy hardly even hide how much they hate this part of their job anymore. I get it; it’s as much a reflection of the state of the roster/franchise, but this podcast isn’t really even worth listening to at double speed the one time a week they’re even releasing content anymore. It feels like more time is spent on who isn’t on the roster than what actually happened during the previous week & that tenor bleeds into the stale feel that longtime listeners are left with as the season moves along. That said, Grant remains- by far and away- the best writer on The Athletic.”
