“Jake and Justin provide realistic and objective assessments of our St. Louis City Soccer Club, their opponents and the games, including the officiating.
While other podcasts offer similar assessments, Jake and Justin are more thorough, more complete.
While I don’t bet on the games, I do like that Jake and Justin share the odds of multiple types of bets that can be placed on any given game… they share their reasoning as to whether the odds are reasonable or not, and that segment often provides views of the games that help us appreciate the game more (even without betting).
I also like that they were the first to introduce to us show the math behind the magic number, the number of Coty wins and opponent losses (and ties) which is different in a soccer league with ties / draws than in baseball with just wins and losses.
I mostly listen to Ball Watching and have periodically watched the episodes in YouTube… both are great formats.
