Not your average actual play D&D podcast.
I binged this whole series in a matter of a few weeks. From the first episode you are immediately drawn in to the characters, the world, and the story line. The use of sound effects is perfect, and the use of the mini episodes really helps the pacing of the story. It’s well voiced, played, and produced. The DM is amazing at drawing you in to a false sense of security, just to have it ripped away from some horror you wouldn’t have thought could happen. The chemistry of the cast is wonderful, everyone plays their characters well and takes the time to think out exactly what their characters would do in that moment. I also love the holiday one shots where everyone can just sit back and have a good time outside the main story. Go listen to this thrilling tale and you won’t regret it. I’ve only listened to one episode but heard about them through the @fourorbs podcast. So far, I am amazed at the quality of production! I’ve already used some of the storytelling techniques in my home game as a dungeon master. Can’t wait to start from the beginning and catch up.
