Facts matter
In Episode One, one of the sources of insight is a 40 year old man who is described as a freelancer journalist type. He’s given quite a bit of attention for his theories and he comes across, I believe, intentionally as somewhat of an authority. However he specifically uses the terms “sharpshooter” and “assault rifle” in his dispensation. Neither of which applies to what all the forensics show: only a shotgun was used in Officer Ellis’ murder. One would assume that accuracy in a documentary is objective numero uno. It seems there is no escape from agendas.
