“So two years ago my husband and I are headed to the Kentucky derby, being from Canada I was soaking up that Kentucky scenery and smell of bourdon in the air, when we drove through Bardstown, I recall most being enthralled by this beautiful little town. After going to a Distillery the next day, I said to my husband let’s go back to that small town for shopping and lunch. After some antique shopping I started to notice a theme.. this young police officer’s photo in window shops and prominently displayed in windows, his young handsome face just following us. The true crime enthusiast in me thought there has to be a story here.. so after googling the simplest few words of “bard..” up came the “Bardstown Murders” these cases have stuck with me, and haunted me to this day. This is the podcast I needed, but also one that hope that these poor victims get justice.. one day..”
