Longtime Lister, First Question
Do coaches prepare for bowl games the less, the same or more than a normal regular season game? Example: In 2017, #5 Penn State and #9 USC played in the Rose Bowl. Would Franklin prepare for USC more than he would do for a big rivalry game against Ohio State because he has more time and it’s the Rose Bowl? Or did he prepare less because they had a great season, just missed the playoffs and a Rose Bowl win would be considered extra? In the pregame interview he said “I’m not concerned about what the end result will be, I just want to represent Penn State”. I first started watching Pate with Late Kick and then found this podcast and since then it it’s my favorite one with Late Kick and Cover 3. What makes y’all special is how Bud goes deep into a topic like how he stated how all of South Carolina’s recruiting rivals are better now than when SC was good in the early 2010’s and how the overall state talent In SC has went down since then as well. Keep it up, we need more content!
