Impossible to win the Heisman?
Hopefully this will be 4/4 on questions for me. Very sad to see Barton going - but I think it is an incredibly smart hire for Vandy. My question: is it possible for a Clemson player to win the Heisman? To preface Devonta Smith is deserving. Clemson is looking at so many greats coming short of the Heisman in the last 15 years. The problem is that when we have a multiple touchdown lead, our Heisman candidates are coming out of the game. You contrast that to, Mac Jones who was still playing against LSU when Alabama was up by 41. God (and i) love him, but is it possible for us to win a Heisman with Dabo’s mentality of not chasing those stats? Also why no app for 24/7 sports?

Over the years, I’ve heard the theory that Texas high school football players are often maxed out after high school because of the culture and terrific coaching in the state. I have mixed feelings because of draft results but there are many examples that do support the theory. What do y’all think?
