A unique approach to surf technique with Okia Surfing
Listen now
Description
Richie Murua of Okia surfing talks us through his unconventional and analytical approach to surf technique and we go deep into breaking down the front side carve and backside bottom turn. In it we discuss the nuances of weight distribution, speed vs control, and how to develop more quickly as a surfer. It really made me question some of my long standing beliefs about the biomechanics of surfing and is one of the my favorite interviews I've done to date.
