“I absolutely adore the Bastow podcast and have loved every episode however this episode - Debbie Pushor - was like listening to a very out of touch evangelical fanatic. I left wondering how someone who only sees parents as inherently good and without fault and schools as working against families is able to have such a large platform in which to push this agenda. Parent engagement is incredibly powerful in educAtion but what she is talking about is unrealistic for everyone involved INCLUDING the parents. Home visits? FFS! Disappointed.”
