Description
Imagine you open the paper a see an article about the outdoors and being a sportsman. Then the article turns into how we can be great mentors. Well you do not have to imagine. This is a regular thing in the Las Vegas Review Journal Nevada's largest paper. The man behind the keyboard is none other than Doug Nielsen the in the Outdoors writer for the LVRJ. Doug was once Ron's scout leader and has mentored many people in his day. In fact the Battle Born Duckers podcast was founded on a talk gave a few years back and is the backbone of our philosophy.  The lit the spark in us to be better mentors. We actually lost the first half of this episode but the information is too good not to share. So sit down and listen to Doug and when you are done go read one of his articles at https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/sports-columns/in-the-outdoors/sharing-outdoor-knowledge-is-both-a-privilege-and-a-joy-2352323/
