Reconciliation
This podcast acknowledges and covers the extreme multifaceted nature of the human experience, never condemning or dismissing those facets which fail to fit neatly with others (i.e. religion or politics) and instead go through the effort of reconciling various conflicting interests within the framework of grace. It often feels as if an infinite God is necessary to unite people who are often so diametrically opposed, that without God there would be no hope for peace. Erwin and Aaron have the unique distinction, as Christians who address these kinds of issues, of being capable of imagining a world where God and humanity are in harmony with each other. People might never put aside their pretty differences, but at least it seems plausible that everyone could adopt some version of a creative spirit intent on the betterment of all, and with a posture of service and gratitude build a world where the human spirit truly thrives.
