“I love this family and I love this podcast but the recent episode was bashing the school system. As a teacher I find this highly offensive. Please, try to do our job for one day and you may learn some respect. Teaching is SO much more than teaching memorization of facts! Things are done differently now then when we were kids in school. We do teach kids “why” and “how” to solve problems. There is actually very little focus on memorization. Which is also an important skill. If you have your own opinions and experiences with education, of course that is fine. But do a little research before making broad claims that the educational system is broken and suggesting that teachers are doing their students a disservice if they are doing things a little differently. I’ve never felt called to write a review before, but this was just too far.”
