Fundamentals
Great podcast! Phil, you talk about fundamentals all the time. I would like to hear what you mean by breaking it down. Would be nice to hear more examples such as what type of groundwork should be considered a mainstay in your training. What should be repetitive and what should not? Thank you! Keep up the good work!

I am not a roping or barrel racing fan (I ride an Arab so wouldn’t fit in with that crowd anyways) but I get a lot out of this podcast when it comes to training philosophy. I use it to help me keep focused on my training goals and to look at things from my horses point of view.

Been listening for a few months now & it has quickly become my favorite podcast! So much wisdom & great take always from someone who has been working in the horse industry for decades! I’ve recommended this podcast to others several times.

Phil is so relatable and has such a great way of talking about things in an understandable way. Every episode he gives me confidence and shares something to progress both the physical and mental side of training!
