“I am a student of behavior analysis who will be working to transition into clinical practice within the next year. As I’ve gained more experience in my supervision and through my VCS, questions about ethics, social justice, and doing best by my future clients are the most common ones currently popping up. This podcast shows me that while we are an established practice and science, these questions are ever-present and the answers to them live with every decision we make as a field. Knowing there are voices out there to help guide us in doing justice by our clients makes me hopeful for our field. This is a new favorite of mine— Thank you, Denisha and Arin!
PS - One thing I would like to see improvement on with the podcast is the sound editing. The volume of all the speakers on the podcast can vary quite a bit, so I am constantly turning up and turning down the volume when listening to be able to hear everyone. I know that’s sometimes difficult when calling in guests depending on their recording equipment, but if there is a way to equalize the volume of all the speakers, it would definitely improve my listening experience!”
