“The first episode I listened to was Old School Hippie. I loved the conversation and the rapport between the host and the caller. I was delighted because I’ve been looking for a new go-to podcast, and there’s such a huge back catalogue of Beautiful Anonymous. But then I listened to the first 2/3s of Lean Mean and Serene. I guess I should have just Marked as Played early in the episode when the caller cited her exact weight and claimed her title as Lean Mean and Serene. I agree with another reviewer that this caller seemed manipulative. The love-fest that Seth warned listeners about just seemed gross once the caller launched into evangelizing about her 12-step program that’s all about weighing and measuring food and strictly controlling your weight. (A set-up? Love bombing? The caller clearly had an agenda.) Anyway I exited the episode then. I’m taking a break from the whole podcast. Such a promising find but this episode was so disappointing.”
