Thomas discusses the importance of high quality financial reporting standards which can lead to greater consistency and comparability for the public sector. He also discusses how the Coivd-19 crisis highlighted the lack of investment in the public sector which now requires the proper tools in order to move forward with recovery which will also be crucial to ensure a successful transition towards a sustainable economy.
