GOAT Podcast
I remember back in the early days of quarantine when Nico would always talk about this podcast he wanted to make. It’s one of those things you hear your friends daydream about from time to time but are skeptical of the odds of it actually happening. Two and a half years later and Beersos actually exists. So I just wanna say how proud I am of you Nico. You chased this dream and put in the work to make it happen. That is not an easy thing to do and I applaud and look up to you for it. One of the strongest parts of this podcast is the chemistry between Nico and Derek. It’s only grown from episode to episode and I think you two have melded brains at this point. Whatever the conversation is, whether it be discussing childhood trauma or describing pissing yourself at nineteen years old like it’s a war story, it’s almost always engaging and shows a strong bond between two close friends. There are so many times that I’ve sat back and paused because i’ve related so much to something being said during any given episode. That level of honesty and genuine conversation that some of the later episodes reach are some of my favourite parts of the podcast. I think that’s the true strength of Beersos whether you intended for it to be or not. It’s an honest time capsule of this weird space between adolescence and adulthood. As for suggestions, I would love to see some visuals to go along with audio in the future. It would be difficult and expensive to figure out a multi-cam setup but I think it would add a lot to the show if you could figure it out. I hope you continue to push this thing and see how far it can go. It’s only getting better with each new episode and I can’t wait to to see where you go from here. Whatever you do I’ll be here for it!

In your last podcast you spoke about your German family and referred to them using a racist term. Please remove this section as it is a lie as there was never an intervention as you claim. As your father, I know and have witnesses that you were accepted and loved by your entire German family....Read full review »
